Methylcobalamin is one of the active form of vitamin B12 which has role in the formation of myelin sheath and regeneration of nerve. Methylcobalamin is one of the two coenzyme forms of vitamin B12. Evidence indicates this form of vitamin B12, in addition to having a theoretical advantage over cyanocobalamin, Actually has some metabolic and therapeutic applications not shared by the other forms of vitamin B12. Alpha Lipoic Acid is a coenzyme essential for energy production, a superb antioxidant that recycles vitamin C, D and enzymatic antioxidant glutathione. It is anti hyperglycemic which can increase glucose disposal. Reduces Neuropathic symptoms like pain, paresthesia and numbness. Alpha-lipoic acid (ALA) is a powerful natural antioxidant. It has been used to improve diabetic neuropathies and has reduced pain in several studies. Supplementing with Alpha Lipoic Acid for six months has been found to reverse the cause of diabetic nerve damage and improve this painful condition. In double-blind research, 600 mg per day helps reduce nerve damage in people with both Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes (IDDM and NIDDM).

Benfothiamine is a synthetic derivative which is a lipid soluble form of Vitamin B1. Benfothiamine has the ability to inhibit the three major pathways (AGE, PKC & Hexosamine) simultaneously. Pyridoxine (Vitamin B6) is an essential coenzyme in the conversion of the amino acid tryptophan to niacin. Pyridoxine also plays an important role in the body’s metabolism of fats and carbohydrates. The synthesis of unsaturated fatty acids requires pyridoxine. Energy cannot be produced for the cells without this vitamin. Pyridoxine deficiency can cause harm to dendrites, dendrites are the parts of nerve cells that carry impulses from one brain cell to another.

Calcium L-5- Methyltetrahydrofolate is the active form of folate which need not be activated by the variants of folate dependent enzymes. Directly absorbed as L-Methylfolate and directly involved in lowering Homocysteine blood levels. The only form of folate able to cross the blood brain barrier with 100 % bioavailability. It is a Hematologic agent (concerned with blood, the blood-forming organs, and blood diseases), which stimulates the hematopoietic system. Folate is also essential for the metabolism of homocysteine, and helps maintain normal levels of this amino acid.
